Marie-Caroline Hominal & Nelisiwe Xaba
Hominal / Xaba
Questioning cultural appropriation and the status of the author, the piece Hominal / Xaba is part of research that began in 2015. In this new project, two choreographers, one South African, the other Swiss, measure up to one another. In their funny and fragile dialogue, the two women also dance a blend of cultures and tutorials on the internet. The piece is defined as a textile manifesto in which a few suits also get made!
