Vos murs ne nous empêcheront pas (Focus t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e)

Opening night

Depending on the individual project, the creations of t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e/Pierre Larauza + Emmanuelle Vincent, in which several artistic disciplines intersect but form an organic part of the choreographic scene, come in the form of a stage show, an urban performance, a museum installation or a film.

In April 2020 the Jacques Franck cultural centre is focusing on their work with an exhibition and two shows. The exhibition will bring together visual and sound excerpts going back over 17 years of remarkable creations. It will also feature documents on new choreographic creation and an original sculpture by Pierre Larauza, both of which are characterised by a desire to remove barriers between dance, visual art and sport.

There are two highlights during the preview evening on 3 April: the performance-installation Insert Coin that involves audience interactivity, and the performative solo Mutante, which attempts to embody a sculpture of movements, half-way between dance and contemporary art.

On 25 April, t.r.a.n.s.i.t.s.c.a.p.e will be performing two hybrid creations at the D Festival: Distorsions urbaines, which questions the notion of territory, and Chambre(s) d’hôtel, which blurs the boundaries between fiction and reality.
