Lullaby

After losing a close friend, the Iranian artist Alireza Mirmohammadi devised a dance tinged with tenderness and the grief of loss. Here the sorrow at her absence is turned into a remarkable ritual in which each gesture, imagined as different rites of mourning, bears the marks of regret in a dance that achieves the universal.
